Initially, the applicant tracking system was introduced to weed out unqualified applicants. And now a new technology called asynchronous video interview (AVI) has been deployed to further sift through applicants and identify those who meet a company’s criteria.
The AVI is benefiting companies, but it raises a high hurdle for applicants. Furthermore, the AVI often incorporates artificial intelligence to rank applicants. This presentation describes interviewing with a machine, and it offers many tips for increasing your chances to be selected.
